Cavendish Astrophysics

A chance for prospective students to come and see the research of the Cavendish Astrophysics Group.


If you are considering applying to us for MPhil or PhD, or if you have already applied, this is your chance to come and see our research and to meet staff and students.

The day begins at 11am with coffee. You will the have chance to meet with our  students and to discuss research. A formal presentation will be given by the Head of Group (Professor Paul Alexander), or his deputy, at 12pm.  This will be followed by informal presentations by members of our research staff. You will also have the chance of a tour of the Battcock Centre for Experimental Astrophysics and the surrounding site.
